Improvement of spring collet design

The COLLET CHUCK is a kind of centering clamping mechanism with high centering accuracy. It is mostly used for semi-finishing or roughing of smaller diameter (d≤30mm) bar parts. Figure 1 is a schematic view of the shape of the collet in a natural state (regardless of the expansion). In use, the collet is moved axially within the spindle taper hole, and the chafer of the collet is contracted in the A direction under the action of the taper surface, thereby achieving centering clamping of the workpiece (or tool).
