CNC milling machine is a kind of automatic processing equipment developed on the basis of general milling machine. The processing technology and structure of the two machines are basically the same. CNC milling machine can be divided into two categories: non-tool library and tool library. Among them, the NC milling machine with tool library is also called machining center.
1. Classification according to the form of tool change
(1) The tool changing device of the machining center with a tool bank manipulator is composed of a tool bank and a manipulator, and the tool changing action is completed by a manipulator.
(2) Machining center of manipulator. The tool changing process of this kind of machining center is completed by coordinating the action of tool library and spindle box.
(3) Turret tool library machining centers are generally used in small processing centers, mainly for processing holes.
