What are the types of tool holders according to taper

(I) there are generally five standards and specifications for universal tool shank with 7:24 taper, namely NT (DIN 2080 / ISO 2583 type), DIN 69871 (German standard), IS0 7388 / 1 (International Standard), MAS BT (Japanese standard) and ANSI / ASME (American Standard).
1) DIN 2080 (NT or ST for short)

It is not allowed to use the manipulator of the machine tool to install the tool but to use the manual tool.

There are two types of DIN 69871, namely DIN 69871 A / AD and DIN 69871 B,

3) ISO 7388 / 1 (IV or it for short)
There is no difference between DIN 69871 and ISO 7388 / 1 in the installation dimension of tool handle
The D4 value of tool handle is less than that of DIN 69871, so ISO 7388 / 1 tool handle
There is no problem when it is installed on the machine tool of DIN 69871 taper hole, but the tool of DIN 69871
If the handle is installed on the ISO 7388 / 1 machine tool, interference may occur.
4) MAS BT type (BT for short)
BT type is Japanese standard, installation dimensions are in accordance with DIN 69871, IS0 7388 / 1 and ANSI
It's all different. It can't be changed The symmetrical structure of BT handle makes it better than the other three handles in high speed stability.
5) ANSI b5.50 (cat for short)
ANSI b5.50 is an American Standard, and its installation dimension is similar to DIN 69871 and IS0 7388 / 1. However, because there is less wedge gap, ANSI b5.50 tool shank can not be installed on din69871 and IS0 7388 / 1 machine tools, but DIN 69871 and IS0 7388 / 1 tool shank can be installed on ANSI b5.50 machine tools.
