Matters needing attention in design of spring chuck
In the design and manufacture of spring chucks, there is a general problem of dimension chain. In the process of assembling the spring chuck into a machine, that is to say, to assemble and accumulate the relevant dimensions of the parts. Because of the manufacturing error of spring chuck size, there will be error synthesis and accumulation during assembly. The accumulated total error will affect the performance and quality of the machine. This results in the relationship between the size error and the comprehensive error of spring chuck. The design of spring chucks is no exception. It is very important to determine the size tolerance and shape tolerance of spring chuck reasonably.
Spring chuck
When operating, the wrench extends into the window and pulls the pull screw, which can easily clamp and loosen the tool. Because the outer diameter of the jacket adopts Mohs taper, the repetition accuracy error is small, and the pull screw is used in the fixture to reduce the size of the head, which is convenient for observation and cooling.
Spring chuck is a machine tool accessory which uses the elastic deformation of the chuck to centralize and clamp the workpiece or tool. The spring chuck is usually used in the hole of the machine tool spindle.
