Installation procedure of clamp
1. check that the screw teeth of the connecting nut can be locked into the connecting pipe.
2. lock the connecting nut to the sleeve.
3. reduce the oil pressure to the minimum state, and actuate the oil pressure cylinder to stop the piston at the front end. Turn the collet to lock the connecting nut into the screw teeth of the connecting pipe. When locking, the taper hole of the collet must be concentric with the taper of the main shaft, and the locating hole of the clamp must be aligned with the locating button at the nose end of the main shaft.
4. operate the oil pressure cylinder to make the piston back, and combine the collet with the taper of the main shaft, and confirm that the positioning button has been assembled into the collet.
5. the locking screw will fix the clamp head and the main shaft, gradually increase the oil pressure and repeatedly move the clamp head to the maximum allowable thrust.
Installation procedure of the bobbin
1. remove the stop cover
2. install the clamp on the stop cover and then install the clamp into the sleeve.
3. install the stop cover back to the body and lock the screws to check whether the clamping stroke of the clamp is correct.
The clamping accuracy of the clamp is between 0.001-0.008mm. With the use of tool handle and nut, different clamping accuracy is applied to different workpiece processing technology. The higher the accuracy of the tool connection part, the higher the precision of the clamp is to be selected, which will directly affect the overall runout precision after clamping the tool. The high precision requires the selection of high-precision drum clamp.
