I often hear many customers ask "how long your NC tool handle can be used, or whether it has a service life". This is a conceptual misunderstanding. Why do you say so? Here is a brief analysis:

The reasons are in two aspects. The decisive factors are the different working environment and working state of the tool handle in the production process and the different frequency and time of tool change.

In terms of the working frequency used; For example, two factories of Party A and Party B have purchased BT tool handles at the same time. First, factory a is engaged in the manufacturing industry, with single products, relatively long processing time, long tool change cycle and relatively low tool change frequency; Factory B is engaged in hardware processing and mechanical product manufacturing industry. Its process is complex, many processes and high tool change frequency; Compared with the two companies, the service life of the tool handle is naturally different, so we generally do not calculate it according to the service time.

Therefore, the service life of the tool handle is calculated from the number of tool changes: generally, under the normal use of conventional BT tool handle, the conservative number of tool handle is between 2000 and 3000; However, according to our standard of 2000 times for each handle, if we change the knife twice a day, we will have a rest on holidays; Generally, the handle can be used for more than 3 years; However, in the actual use process, few factories use a knife handle for up to 3 years; Most of the tool handles are damaged due to collision during use or other reasons; Of course, many factors in application affect the service life of the handle.
