CNC tool holder maintenance knowledge

Tool handle is an important connecting accessory between machine tool and cutting tool. The connecting parts of machine tools and tool handles, tool handles and cutting tools are mostly used for metal processing. Metal powder impurities shall not be stained, and they shall be kept clean at all times. Avoid damage to the tool handle. In order to ensure the accuracy, the important fitting surface cannot be processed after grinding.

Maintenance method of NC tool handle:

1. Reduce the contact between the sweat on the hands and the tool handle, try not to grasp the tool with bare hands, and apply anti rust oil in time after grasping the tool with bare hands. When manually installing and removing the tool handle, form a good habit of applying anti rust oil after the tool handle is removed and before installation;

2. Regularly check the coolant concentration to prevent the decrease of coolant concentration, the proliferation and breeding of bacteria and the acceleration of tool handle corrosion. The anti rust aging of coolant is different. Select the appropriate anti rust aging coolant;

3. During the Spring Festival, the cleaning and rust prevention of the tool handle before the factory holiday is essential. The tool handle not used for a long time must be coated with antirust oil for storage, and the antirust oil shall be reapplied regularly.

The service life of the tool handle is often 5-8 years. Selecting the tool handle with excellent performance and stable quality can effectively save the production cost. The daily maintenance of NC tool handle can effectively increase the service life of tool handle and reduce production cost.
